Nico Tha Clown, performed by Marlos E’van, is a socially engaged performance film  that is all-inclusive, and meant to accessible to diverse communities across the world. Nico is a Protagonist Clown originally conceived in an oil painting titled “Soir Bleu” by Marlos E’van. In this painting, a clown named Nico sits at a round table communing with four of their closest collaborators. Nico is a symbolic self-portrait, an alter-ego. Through the invention of this character, Marlos is exploring their own identity. Like Marlos, Nico is a non-binary BIPOC who navigates through the world seeking peace, connection, and love; something a vast majority of us desire. Part of the vision is to screen Nico Tha Clown around the world in theaters, community centers, and galleries.
